Leonor Decors is the ultimate professional design company.  My husband and I used Maria Stallings with Leonor Decors to design our home.  She helped us transform a very aged and old rowhouse from the early 1900s into a contemporary, modern, sheek and beautiful home!  Our home now features a number of different conversation pieces/rooms, including a glass railing, a hookah lounge, a marble bathroom, three-way glass fireplace and two console tables that she helped make into a single dining room table.  The finished project is so amazing that certain visitors have asked to photograph it.  My husband and I could not be happier.

Maria is very multi-faceted in her skillset.  Her work encompassed speaking with contractors,  assisting with design layout, selecting tiles and backsplash, helping to choose paint colors, identifying proper building materials with the contractor and designing the home with furniture.  It also helps that Maria is bilingual and was able to speak Spanish with our contractor, which removed the language barrier and made us feel more comfortable that the communication could improve in what was a stressful time.

Maria is extremely creative and very resourceful.  My husband and I initially did not think we would have additional funds to renovate our back porch area, which was really not in great condition.  Through Maria's innovative thinking, she designed a beautiful hookah lounge for us in that area that was very inexpensive compared to the finished product.  Now, with the television, red sheer curtains and dimmer lights, the lounge is one of our favorite parts of the house to entertain.

Extremely conscious of our defined budget, Maria immediately knew the places to get great items for an excellent value, which people today think we spent a fortune.  She understood that not every piece needed to cost a fortune and that the pieces we purchased would be a balance in terms of pricing.  

Finally, Maria goes above and beyond the call of her duty.  She is truly committed to her work and loves what she does.  Maria accompanied us to several stores across several months to select items in which we felt satisfied.  She also spent countless hours searching the Internet to find that right piece.  It was not abnormal for Maria to send emails at midnight expressing her excitement about all of the new items she found and links for my husband and I to view and select.  When my husband and I got overwhelmed at times, Maria would jump in and pick up the phone to talk to the contractor or help us assemble furniture or hang pictures.  A lot of the work she took on was truly outside the scope of her commissioned project but because of Maria's passion, she wanted a great end result with happy customers. 

Maria was truly a blessing to our family.  Not only did she DELIVER, she was always timely and willing to go the extra mile.  I have since engaged Maria for other design work and have also referred her to other friends.  It is without reservation that Maria and Leonor Decors gets my HIGHEST rating.
